On 31st October 2009, the total cost of the return flight with one piece of hand luggage and a checked bag of not more than 15kg was £136.98.  This price varies depending on the date you book.

This price includes booking by debit card (add £2 for credit card) but does not include insurance which you would need to take out separately.

Additional to this, we are estimating the cost of the Mission to be not more than £400 per person but this will depend on the number travelling – ie it could be less.

The total cost will thus be in the region of £530 per person.

There are a maximum 25 places on this Mission .

We will visit the world's biggest Jewish cemetery with 250,000 matzevahs plus the ghetto area - seeing Mila 18, Umschlagplatz, the Korczak house, the ghetto wall in Zlota and hero’s square memorials.

If time allows we will pay a visit to Ger and the shtetl home of Tzaddick Yitzhack Meir’s ohel.

In the evening we will take a coach to Lublin via Kazimierz-Dolny - this was the Polish Bournemouth where pre-war this pleasant town on the river surrounded by forests had a sizeable Jewish population and doubled up in the summer months during vacation time

The first night we will be in the Mercure Hotel Unia in Lublin

2nd Day.  15th February.  LUBLIN

We will visit Lublin and take a walking tour of Jewish Lublin with the restored Yeshiva Chachmei and remaining synagogues and cemetery. We will then leave Lublin and visit Majdanek, en route to Lodz and via the Przysucha and/or Piotrkow Trubunalski shtetls.

We will spend this night and the last night at the Orbis Hotel Grand in Lodz
